The elegant surroundings of this gorgeous beachfront villa lives up to its Sanskrit name, Amatapura – eternal village. Its timeless natural beauty makes this private vacation home one that visitors hate to leave.

Amatapura 12 is part of a private luxury development and houses four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Great importance was given to ensure that the property would ensure sea views from as many locations within the house as possible.

Guests will love the colors used in this luxurious villa. They are rich and warm, making the house inviting and comfortable. The use of teak and copper in the interior design, built-in cabinetry, and other details all give this holiday home a beautiful, contemporary look.

The first thing visitors see when they enter is an impressive double-height lobby, which leads into the downstairs living quarters. The downstairs of this two-story home features tiled floors, a living room, a kitchen-dining room and a communal bathroom with a walk-in shower. One of the four bedrooms is also located on the ground floor.

The kitchen is perfectly set up for those who love to cook, equipped with all new modern appliances and a central island. The adjoining dining area for eight makes eating a pleasure, with its view of the Andaman Sea.

Three walls of retractable folding glass doors define the lounge area, which also includes a dedicated bar and direct access to the garden and pool. A home theatre, with a 40” LCD TV completes this comfortable room.

The villa was constructed so that all of the shared living spaces were open to the beautifully landscaped gardens. Designed with optimal comfort, these areas can be cooled by sea breezes or closed off to allow the central air conditioning to run.

The parquet flooring of the upstairs level leads to a master suite housing its own lounge with a TV facing the ocean where guests can see the limestone cliffs of Railay and the islands beyond. Balconies also face these lovely panoramic views.

The master bedroom, with its large picture windows, features a four-poster bed, an adjoining bathroom with a tub, a separate shower room, a double vanity and a small outdoor area. Because this bedroom is so spacious, there is room to set up two extra beds for two children.

The two other bedrooms on this floor consist of double beds, built-in storage areas, DVD players, and adjoining bathrooms with walk-in showers.
The outdoor set-up enhances the experience of this special private villa, with its covered patio, sun deck, Jacuzzi and private 43-square-meter saltwater pool. A beautifully landscaped garden stretches the full length of the 200 meter-wide Ao Nam Mao beachfront.

This Krabi beachfront villa is part of a prestigious private development on the Ao Nam Mao coast, a peaceful stretch of sand located less than 10 minutes from the tourist centre of Ao Nang.

The spacious, open plan design – open both to the interior, and to the exterior with floor to ceiling windows - creates a convivial living space that would be ideal for a family reunion or getaway. Anchored around a large well-equipped kitchen with a central island, are an indoor lounge with home theatre system, a dining area and a shaded outdoor terrace and pool deck – you can also jump into the water straight from the living room.

With high speed wi-fi connection throughout, table tennis, and of course the beach at the end of the garden, younger guests will not be bored.

The villa’s five bedrooms will accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably. The first bedroom, on the ground floor, has a queen size bed, TV with DVD player, plenty of built-in storage and access to the communal bathroom directly opposite.

Four more bedrooms are located upstairs. The sea-facing master suite, with its king size four-poster bed, is especially generous in size and features a spa-style bathroom with double vanity, indoor and outdoor shower rooms, a central bathtub and walk-in closet. There is also a small lounge area and a sunroom set up with massage beds (in-house treatments are available). This can be fully opened to benefit from the ocean breezes and panoramic island views.

The three other bedrooms are all queen sized; two have ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers. The third is open to the stairwell so would be suitable for children or those not requiring complete privacy. All have their own TVs with DVD players.

The garden stretches the full length of the wide 200m beachfront. There is a ??m x ??m splash pool directly in front of the villa, while a larger communal pool is also available within the development for those who wish to swim laps.

The villa may be rented with Amatapura Villa no. 1 for large groups who wish to stay together. The two villas are located within the same development and are around 150m apart.

Amatapura Villa no. 14 has off-street parking with 24 hour security; car or motorbike rental can be easily arranged. Those who do not have their own transport may use Krabi Riviera’s tuk-tuk service to get to and from Ao Nang, or the boat pier at Ao Nam Mao, both of which are a short distance away. One of four villas managed by Krabi Riviera at this chic beachfront development, Amatapura Villa no. 15 is a four bedroom – four bathroom luxury home with private pool. It is set immediately in front of the beach in Ao Nam Mao, with direct access to the sand and enjoys beautiful views over the islands.

Designed in a very similar style to the neighbouring Amatapura Villa no. 1, this villa offers the same understated elegance, high quality furnishings and plenty of space to spread out. The huge entrance hall creates a dramatic first impression, with a double height ceiling, custom-made fretwork screens and views through to the beach.

A wet bar is in place to serve drinks on a casual basis, or for any function guests may plan during their stay. The living space is open-plan with a large, well-equipped kitchen that features a central island with breakfast bar, five ring gas stove, oven, microwave and double door fridge-freezer.
A dining area with 8-seater table and a lounge with 42” TV (satellite channels) are located in the two ‘prongs’ of the unusual Y-shaped space. Floor to ceiling windows along the outer walls can be opened or closed as desired to create a seamless indoor-outdoor feel with the large tiled deck outside.
This patio area – partly shaded - connects the house with the swimming pool and Jacuzzi, and the smaller toddlers’ splash pool. Beyond can be found the well-tended communal garden and the beach – which, being separate from the main tourist hub, is usually quiet and deserted. One double (queen size) bedroom is located here on the ground floor. This uses the adjacent communal bathroom with walk-in shower. On the upper floor can be found three more bedrooms.
Two are queens with en-suite facilities, TV with DVD player and built-in closets; one also has additional space for an office desk and dressing area. The magnificent master suite spans the width of the villa and overlooks the ocean. The four-poster bed is positioned to take advantage of these spectacular views; there is also an outdoor balcony with sun loungers for guests’ use. A light-filled, spa-style bathroom offers a double vanity unit, walk-in shower and bathtub that can be optionally opened onto the bedroom. There is a small living area with daybed, as well as ample walk-in closet space.

This floor also has its own lounge, a cosy space that could be used as a reading or games room, or as a second media room – there is another TV with satellite channels provided. Central air conditioning and wi-fi internet are available throughout the house; a larger communal pool is also available within the exclusive Amatapura development for those who wish to swim laps.

The red master bedroom is decorated with large wood carvings and has a walk-in closet and dressing area as well as en-suite bathroom with rain shower. Slightly set back from the pool, French windows open onto a shady terrace; on the other side, sliding doors open down into the light and airy living space. There is a media corner with sofas, one of which can be used as an extra bed; a dining area; and small kitchen, all in dark wood. The doors from this room open directly onto the pool, meaning guests can step straight into the Jacuzzi.

The swimming pool itself is 8m x 4m and there is a well-tended garden surrounding the property. Wi-fi internet access is available throughout, and the villa guests can also take advantage of the Krabi Riiviera company unlimited private taxi service (additional charge) for local transportation.
